Sennar Health of Kassala demands a unified body for the salvation of the health sector – Safar al -Takhi – ✍️ Muhammad al -aqab

At a time when the health system is grappling with the challenges of costs and service delivery, the participation of the Ministry of Health in Sennar was not in the service workshop in Kassala, just an exchange of experiences, but it was a platform to launch a strategic invitation to form (a unified body) that brings together health and partners to develop content health services for the PLATEAU SECTOR The pricing workshop organized by health insurance in Kassala, this invitation which led the Minister-designate, Dr. Ibrahim Al -Awad Ahmed Abu Taba, not only reflects a local need of Sennar State, but also a structural solution to the problem of retail in decision-making for health at the state level.
The strong delegation, led by Dr. Abu Takra, Minister of Health and Social Development in charge of Sennar, proved that coordination between health insurance is the key to the success of any reform plan. The harmony between the two sides of Sennar is what allowed the operation of most health facilities and the implementation of 136 therapeutic days, which was confirmed by the Director of Therapeutic Medicine in Sennar Health, Dr. Mazahir Ali Mustafa Abu Jazi, referring to the work of the joint committee for the re-insurance service.
An invitation to revive the higher coordination mechanism
At the heart of the workshop, which was organized by Health Insurance, Minister Abu Abu highlighted the need to form a unified body that brings together health insurance and health and partners to develop agreed policies for the sector. This body, which is likely to be an activation or revival of the previously known Health Coordination Council, Sennar believes represents the only guarantee to achieve the agreed service prices that serve the citizen in all states of Sudan.
This strategic call reflects the awareness that the pricing process that takes place at the expense of costs must be based on a joint sovereign decision that balances cost, quality and the purchasing power of the citizen, which cannot be achieved without a sustainable and sustainable coordination mechanism.
From price to comprehensive care
The comprehensive opinion of the Sennar delegation was not limited to prices only, Fatima Mohamed Abdel Halim, director of the General Ministry of Basic Health Care, indicated that the success of the treatment days and the concerted efforts with health insurance confirms the importance of the partnership in the dissemination of basic health care packages. This controlled coordination ensures that the process of reform and fair price access will not be isolated from providing basic preventive and curative services to citizens in remote areas.
Sennar’s participation, led by the minister in charge, sends a strong message that fragmented reforms cannot continue, while the solution lies in the reactivation of the Health Coordinating Council as the umbrella that ensures that pricing decisions and employment meet public health and social justice objectives.
Sennar’s proposal is a step in the right direction toward making the healthcare sector healthier. But success in its implementation first requires strong political will to address these structural challenges to ensure that the Health Coordinating Council is an effective and influential body instead of a new bureaucratic entity.
