Sennar Livestock holds meeting to make arrangements for opening of Abu Hajar and Woodal Nile tracks
Today, the technical committee for the opening of the Abu Hajar and Woodal Nil trails held consensus No. “3” led by Dr. Mawahib Al-Amin Youssef, Director General of the Ministry of Livestock and fishing, Sennar State – Minister-designate, at the Office of the Minister of Production and Economic Resources, in the presence of Dr. Faisal Adam Ahmed Welda, director of the state's rainfall sector, representative of forests, representative of the pasture and fodder administration, committee rapporteur and representative of the Natural Resources and Livelihoods Program “IFAD”, financier of the program and main partner for the implementation of the path. The meeting discussed general plans and arrangements, reviewed the implementation steps, and reviewed what has been implemented over the past period.
The meeting highlighted the need to accelerate the opening of the Abu Hajar and Woodal Nile sub-lanes to reduce pressure on the main line, and to remain on the ground on the road in addition to carrying out field visits in communities to highlight the importance of opening the track starting next week. The meeting highlighted the need for coordination with members of the State Security Committee in anticipation of any emergency.
