Sennar State Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Launches Distribution of Food and Non-Food Baskets to 213 Families
The Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Sennar State, Mohamed Abdel Fattah Badi, inaugurated the distribution of food and non-food baskets to the accommodation centers of Karima Al Bahr School, Karima Abdel Rasoul School and from the Zakat office in the locality of Sennar Est, to a certain number of people. of 213 families. For his part, Essam Hamad, Director of Organizations at the Sennar State Humanitarian Aid Commission, thanked the Sudanese Red Crescent, Turkish Red Crescent, King Salman Relief Center and the International Organization for migration. targeted the accommodation centers of Karimat Al-Bahr School, Karimat Abdul Rasoul School and the Zakat Office in the locality of Sennar Est, highlighting their supervision and monitoring of the distribution operation across the committee formed for this purpose.
The commissioner for humanitarian aid in the locality of Sinnar East, Hatem Omar Musa, said that these three camps include 213 families from the towns of Sinjah and Al-Suki and some villages of Sinnar, stressing that they have a complete inventory of people affected by the events of the war.
For his part, Al-Tayeb Mahjoub, representative of the Sudanese Red Crescent, Sennar State branch, confirmed that this support came from the Sudanese Red Crescent Society in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent. He said it was humanitarian aid for those affected. war in Sennar State, for war-affected communities, he added, including a food basket, mattresses, blankets, tarpaulins and household utensils.
