Sennar's Council of Ministers approves 2025 budget with 25% spending cut
Sinnar's state budget for the year 2025 achieved five main objectives in light of the circumstances the country is going through, including wars, to ensure security and stability and improve health care for the citizens of the State of Sinnar, in addition to promoting the economy. growth, improving the working environment and restoring what was destroyed by the war.
Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Mahjoub Muhammad, explained that the budget, in terms of revenue and expenditure, was balanced, free of deficits and borrowing from the banking system.
It is clear that the 2035 budget, from a revenue perspective, depends on the revenues provided by the policies and mechanisms that ensure compatibility.
He said there would be no increase in spending, while reducing spending by 25% and allocating it to the security axis.
The governor of Sennar confirmed; Tawfiq Muhammad said that the 2025 budget foresees a lot of suffering for the public, with a reduction in public spending by 25%, strengthening spending on security and military services, developing solutions for reconstruction, developing plans and arrangements, disbursement operations and control collection operations.
