Shendi: Emergencies in the fall, intensive campaigns on livestock enclosures
The relevant authorities have started issuing warnings against a number of cattle pens unofficially set up in several localities in Shendi locality, coming from East Nile and North Bahri, Khartoum State, following the outbreak of war in that area.
The meeting of the autumn emergency committee, chaired by the executive director of Shendi locality, Khaled Abdul Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, ordered the competent authorities of the Department of Livestock and Health and the relevant administrative units to remove all illegally established livestock pens, taking into account that no harm would occur when implementing these removals. The meeting ordered the review of all approved pens and its commitment to comply with all health requirements.
Livestock pens are considered one of the health threats, especially in the fall, as many vectors are considered to be the source of disease transmission between animals and humans. The pen environment is also considered an incubator for many insects and a source of health threats if their owners do not comply with health requirements and standards.
The meeting urged to activate the popular role in the autumn emergency rooms in different administrative units and to work to mobilize the energies of the youth in the process of cleaning the pipelines and moving the rubble and dirt on both sides of the main and subsidiary pipelines.
