An exhibition of winter clothing and supplies attracted displaced people from the east of the island to the Shindi accommodation camps, carried out by the Food, Treatment and Clothing Initiative, based in Shindi Youth Center and led by the young Ibrahim Al-Saydah, with the participation of a large audience of young people of both sexes.
Coach Azza Ismail, head of the exhibition, said the idea is based on classifying clothing according to age groups and type, distributed within the exhibition in a way that allows movement and freedom of choice according to the tastes of each individual, who can take what he wants for free.
The exhibition manager said that the idea was very popular, especially among women and children, as the exhibition provided them with options of colors, sizes and designs according to their mood and taste .
She said that the exhibition presented a large number of electric blankets, which are in greatest demand due to the arrival of the winter season, and that the camps do not protect them from the cold, especially children and women and elderly men.
Coach Azza Ismail confirmed that the great success of the exhibition idea encouraged the leaders of the initiative to continue and expand the exhibition space and duration.
Director of Shindi Youth and Sports Department Muzammil Sayed Ahmed Abdel Rahman and Director of Shindi Youth Center Tariq Abdel Jalil visited the exhibition inside the reception center and felt the approval of the population of the east of the island. .
Muzammil Sayyed Ahmed commended the leaders of the initiative for the spirit of innovation in providing services to the people of the eastern part of the island who came to Shendi and said that the idea of the exhibition of clothing and of winter supplies was correct and that the evidence is the great success of this important service, especially during the winter season.
