Shendi Locality Executive Director inspects the works of the new Square 16 water station and commends the exceptional performance of water management in the locality.
The Executive Director of Shindi Locality, Mr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, inspected the ongoing work on the new water station in Block 16 with the support of Al-Rufaqa Charity for Sustainable Development, which supplies Blocks 16, 1 and 1. The Executive Director praised the great and appreciated efforts made by the water authority and its workers to install and introduce new water sources and improve the internal network of some places in the city. In addition to their on-the-ground monitoring of the water stations and their prompt movement as soon as the reports were cancelled to address the problems facing the service, Professor Khaled confirmed the locality's readiness to meet all needs to ensure the continuity of water supply services for citizens, especially since the locality has a high population density.
The locality's water director, Engineer Walid Mahjoub, revealed his administration's plan to improve water services. Walid announced the introduction of 15 new water stations through the Kafaat organization, in addition to the introduction of 5 new UNICEF stations. installation of a number of solar energy units and a number of network lines to improve the lines in difficulty.
