Shendi: Security Committee to Fight Enemy and Sleeper Cells in Relentless War

The Shendi locality security committee confirmed that it will fight the enemy and sleeper cells in a relentless war and will not stop until they are eliminated.

The committee indicated that it is doing an excellent job in assurance, monitoring and follow-up operations, which have resulted in significant results that have clearly manifested themselves in the security situation in the locality.

The commission said that the work and coordination between the security services is at a high level. The Security Committee has monitored the process of removing stalls and pallets that are hotbeds of corruption in the Grand Shendi market.

The head of the security committee of Shendi locality, Khaled Abdul Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, said that the process of removing all manifestations that distort the general appearance continues and that all sites representing negative phenomena or hiding places for criminals will not be restored.

Khaled praised the efforts of the field force composed of local forces and all regular forces, which carried out their tasks well.

For his part, the director of the local police, Shendi, Brigadier General of Police Ezzedine Muhammad Idris, said that the police are carrying out intensive work through two tracks, the first track is the well-known police work and the second track is joint work with the security committee, which is expanding in a broader framework and which is exercised by the joint regular forces.

He stressed that the police carried out operations in their area of ​​competence which resulted in major violations in several areas.

In addition, citizen Abdel Moneim Babakir Saleh expressed his happiness with the excellent work done by the security committee in removing the kiosks and pallets that began to pose a threat to the security of the surrounding area, he said, although he was hurt by this removal process, and because I own a kiosk in this location, I witnessed the manifestations of corruption and criminal operations. I was not angry that my kiosk in this area was removed as part of this campaign.
