Al-Tarajma Dried Onion Factory in Shindi has started production under the commercialization phase

Member of the factory's board of directors, Omar Wad Al-Nazer, said that the process of drying and packaging onions preserves the quantities of onions produced from spoilage, especially since productivity is high this season. He added that onion drying operations allow the largest quantities of onions to be transported at the lowest cost.

Omar Wad Al-Nazer listed the benefits of drying onions for families and residential complexes, students and regular forces, as it shortens cooking time and reduces the amount of oil used in cooking.

Nile Governor Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed inaugurated the factory and praised the drying process, which gives additional value to the crop.

It is noted that onion productivity this season has reached a high productivity of 250 to 300 bags per acre.
