Shendi University Information Technology Center Concludes Specialized Training Course for Media Professionals – Scenes and Evidence – ✍️ Absher Shajarabi
Shendi University Information Technology Center has concluded the activities of the specialized training course which was held from August 1 to 27 (2024).

The course was aimed at a number of local media professionals, presented by an expert in the field of information technology, *Mohamed Othman*. The course was implemented under the patronage of Executive Director *Khaled Abdel Ghaffar* and under the supervision of *Babakir Al-. Azraq*, Director of the General Administration of Culture and Media, within the framework of a smart partnership between the university, represented by Professor *Hassan Awad Al-Karim*, Director of the University, in coordination with Dr. *Mohamed Siddiq*, Director of the Information Technology Center.

He reviewed the roles played by the university, emphasizing its goals to serve the community and open its doors to host a number of universities in war-affected states to accommodate their students and complete their educational programs in various scientific courses. He stressed the importance of cognitive training and personnel capable of progressing in the light of information technology and artificial intelligence, highlighting some points. The university aims to partner with government institutions in the field of training to keep pace with globalization.
He affirmed that training is a right for media professionals, stressing its importance in improving media service and services provided to institutions, adding that training must be in line with the needs and challenges of the environment.
Professor Hassan Awad Al-Karim, Director of Shendi University, praised the major role of the media in disseminating the university's activities.
For his part, the Director of the Information Technology Centre at Shendi University, Dr Muhammad Siddiq, confirmed:
He stressed the importance of training and qualification of workers to increase efficiency, and congratulated the trainees, their interaction and participation in the distinguished discussions, which greatly contributed to the success of the training course, whose activities lasted for a month. stressed that training is a continuous process, its importance lies in intonation and that the fruit of this training will appear through the execution of the work.

He said that the training course is specialized and important, aimed at developing the capacities and skills of media professionals in the locality. He described the technical course as important in the circumstances the country is going through, and its objective is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the media, especially in the field of design and publishing, he added, there are young leaders who are leading the future of work in the locality.
While Mr. Alam al-Din Musa, the students' representative, said that they received scientific knowledge and advanced skills in computer technology, newspaper design work and presentation method, thanking the locality, the university and those in charge of implementing the training course to increase the capacities of media professionals in the locality.
On the other hand, certificates of appreciation were presented to the university administration, the Information Technology Center, some professors and the director of the General Department of Culture and Media. Certificates were also presented to the graduates of the course.
