Shendi University supports Youth Center with technical aids
Shendi University supported the Youth Center of the General Administration of Youth and Sports in Shendi Township by providing technical assistance, including computers, sewing and embroidery machines, and leather goods processing machines.
Shendi University Director Professor Hassan Awad Al-Karim said that the university's mission is to play a leadership role in serving society and working towards its development.
During his meeting with the director of the general administration of youth and sports in Shindi locality, Muzammil Sayed Ahmed, and the director of the Youth Center, Tariq Abdel Jalil, he added that any party whose role is complementary to the mission of the university will find support and assistance.
He commended the role played by the Youth Centre in capacity building and qualification of youth through transformation courses in a number of programmes.
Professor Hassan Awad Al-Karim indicated that Shendi University has already implemented many such projects in a number of areas north and south of Shendi through the Community Development College and its various centers, and the university has trained thousands of students and hundreds of trainers.
The Director of the General Administration of Youth and Sports in Shendi Locality, Muzammil Sayyed Ahmed, confirmed that Shendi University has brought a major change in the local community and the national community at the level of Sudan. the university until its colleges reached almost twenty colleges, in addition to the health services it provides to the community through medical institutions and treatment centers. affiliated to the university.
Muzammil Sayyed Ahmed said that the support provided by the university to the youth center confirmed that the role of Shendi University extends from society to institutions, and that this is a positive step that counts in favor of the university and is advanced compared to all higher education institutions in Sudan.
