The center's scholars and teachers swapped positions between rooms and between meal preparation areas, a move that occurred for the first time in the history of the city and the youth center.

The Shendi Youth Center's palliative care project has been adopted by a number of youth groups, including the Feeding and Treatment Initiative led by young man Ibrahim Al-Saydah, the Motivators Initiative led by Abdel Moneim Mohamed Abdel Moneim and the Be Amal charity organization. .

The hospice is funded by charitable contributions and donations from several parties, including traders and specialist markets such as the onion, coal and food market.

Public and private vehicle owners helped transport food from the food center to the shelter.

Director of the General Administration of Youth and Sports of Shindi locality, Muzammil Sayyed Ahmed, said that the palliative care initiative launched at the Shindi Youth Center focused on the interaction of young people with national and social problems and their willingness to provide help and assistance. , particularly in cases of emergency and exceptional circumstances.

Muzammil Syed Ahmed added that the fact that students and teachers take responsibility for preparing and distributing food is proof that young people are capable of shouldering their responsibilities and fulfilling their duty, especially in humanitarian and social conditions such as those of war.

The Shindi security committee, led by the locality's executive director, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, had moved all its members when displaced people from the east of the island flocked to the site ready to welcome them. all the arrangements necessary to serve them.
