Shindi environmental sanitation campaign (creates) new concepts – Paths – ✍️ Mahfouz Abdeen

One of the gains made through the (environmental) sanitation campaign that Shendi locality has started to implement may not be the collection, incineration or disposal of waste in various ways and means.

But this campaign gave rise to many concepts that were absent before and were not present in the past, in the form in which they appear today.

The strong participation in this campaign came from officials, individuals and different groups. This is the hallmark of this campaign carried out under the leadership of its leader, Executive Director Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, and his main aides. The Ministry of Health, Media and Culture, its executive office and the South Shendi administrative unit, as well as the previous service committees included the designated persons who participated in the campaign, and the large participation came from the leaders of the popular resistance, who were. present at the kick-off and released their statements of support for the campaign through the inauguration platform in the Qalaia region.

As for the assembly men, they (posted) in front and behind the removal mechanisms, carried hand tools and carried the kickoff.

Among the businessmen was Saif Hadbai, who used to stop between his tour buses, and today he is standing in front of (trash), (trash) and (mesquite) trees, which have been (knocked over) by the removal mechanisms (and they fell) into a raging fire. Hadbai's participation had a great impact among the public and perhaps motivated others to participate in this campaign.

The national media came with great participation, and all the media were present, and the theater people from Khartoum competed with them to steal the show and presented paragraphs supporting the campaign.

One of the positive things about this campaign is that the perception of working in waste has changed, as one of the menial jobs that “disgust” some people, to become another “concept”, as the chief said of the Popular Resistance of Southern Shindi. , Muhammad Wad Al-Assad, who said that “ignorance” and “disease” come from (enemies of) the homeland, and that they must be fought and eliminated, and that cleanliness eliminates many diseases. The other member, Abdul Latif Akar, was not. unfriendly towards Assad, who called for (classifying) waste and (recycling) part of it to get maximum benefits.

If the environmental sanitation campaign launched in Shendi only achieved these two objectives (broad participation) and new (concepts) of environmental health, that would be enough.

But the campaign did not limit itself to these two objectives and reinforced them with a third, which was a success as a starting point and the achievement of the visible and invisible objectives of the campaign.
