Sinar government launches distribution of new humanitarian aid convoy – Zoal Net

Today, in Sinja town, the Sennar State Government inaugurated the distribution of a convoy of humanitarian aid provided by the National Humanitarian Aid Commission in partnership with a number of national partners, in the presence of government leaders, security forces and communities.

The Secretary General of the Sennar State Government, Mr. Magdi Al-Barir, confirmed, during his speech at the inauguration, that this convoy represents an extension of a series of continuous humanitarian aid payments, praising the level of coordination and partnership with the National Commission and national partners, and specifically mentioning the Northern Cement Production Company for its active role in supporting and assisting the state.

He expressed the state government’s satisfaction with the performance of the ministries, localities and security agencies, appreciating the great role played by the popular resistance in supporting the government’s efforts, at the same time sending a message to media professionals in which he called on them to tackle rumors and sleeper cells, stressing that the media has become a strategic industry and an influential tool to confront current challenges.

For his part, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Sennar State, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, explained that the convoy is part of the continued support of the Federal Commission, noting that this is the third convoy to reach the state in a week, reflecting the attention paid to Sennar State.

He revealed that the convoy contains 10,553 bags of flour weighing 25 kilograms, confirming the start of immediate distribution across localities to ensure that aid reaches those in need as quickly as possible.

In this context, Mr. Khader Cheikh Idris, one of the community leaders, expressed his appreciation to the Commission and the companies supporting it, calling for the formation of a specialized media battalion to reflect the achievements of the State and confront negative campaigns through various platforms, stressing that the role of the media is not limited to transmitting information, but extends to monitoring the arrival of aid to its true beneficiaries.
