Sinar Production Minister inspects Sinja horticultural export center and government nursery

Today, Sinnar State Minister of Production and Economic Resources, Dr. Nour El-Din Daoud Musa, inspected the Sinja City Horticultural Export Center and Government Nursery, to learn about its vital role in supporting the local economy and improving the living standards of citizens.

The minister was accompanied during the visit by the director of the General Administration of Planning, Agricultural Economy and Training, engineer Atef Youssef Ali, and the director of the Prevention Department of Sinja, the protection specialist of Moez, Bashir Musa.

The Minister was briefed on the challenges and requirements hindering the progress of works at the center and the nursery, reiterating his commitment to overcome all obstacles and ordering the implementation of an urgent effort to correct the environment of the nursery and return it to its normal state.



He stressed that the nursery needs strong interventions to rehabilitate it and make it better than before, stressing that there is a serious desire on the part of the workers to make it progress. He explained that his ministry is striving to meet all requirements and closely follow this file until it sees the light of day.

The minister pointed out that the nursery could make a major change by increasing production and changing local breeds, which would help improve horticultural exports in Sinnar State, expressing thanks and appreciation to the nurserymen for their efforts and selflessness.

For his part, engineer Badriya Khalifa explained that the nursery contained thousands of mango, lemon, guava and other plants, but that the war led to the deterioration of conditions and the theft of its contents, in addition to suffering from a serious shortage of tools and equipment.

Badriya called for providing the necessary protection to the nursery and its properties, stressing that its rehabilitation will contribute to the production of ornamental and citrus plants, noting that large lemon and orange plants are exposed to damage, and the urgency of rehabilitating the infrastructure.

She stressed that this visit is part of efforts to improve agricultural production and strengthen food security in Sinnar State.
