Soudani continues its humanitarian response program and sponsors 9 hospices in Khartoum and Kassala states
As part of strengthening social responsibility programs, the “Sudani” company launched its third campaign to support humanitarian response efforts among local communities, under the slogan “Hand in hand towards a better society”, in order to support war-affected citizens by implementing (9) hospices in the state of Khartoum, the locality of Karari and the city of Kassala.
The campaign included a specific initiative represented by the “Mobile Vegetable Market Initiative” aimed at providing vegetables, food and bread to citizens of the cities of Khartoum Bahri, Al-Kadro, Umm Al-Qura, Al-Salama, Al-Halfaya, Al-Droshab South and North, Nabta and Umm Dharwa thanks to the watering and feeding initiative of Hala Al-Shafi'i, which also implements the Hot Revolution Hospice 4, 11, 12 , 15 at the headquarters of the Watering and Feeding Organization. .
The campaign also includes the establishment of 3 hospices for the citizens of the city of Tuti through the Fakat Riq initiative of its founder, media professor Othman Al-Jundi, “in the Beit Al-Mal, Al- Thawra Al-Hara 3 and Al-Thawra Al-Hara 13, next to Sheikh Haridi Mosque Hospice in Al-Thawra Al-Hara 10, Al-Thawra Al-Hara 19 Hospice for residents of Siro and the hospice of the Rumaila region. The campaign included supporting the kitchen of the blind shelter in Kassala State and providing medical aids, through Vision Organization, as the palliative care project targets (1,652) families .
This step is a continuation of the food programs that “Sudani” launched during last Ramadan through its first and second campaigns and were implemented in the towns of “El-Fasher, El-Obeid, Kassala, Gedaref Kosti, Port Sudan and Omdurman. through watering, feeding and free-flowing food initiatives, and shampoos through the hospice's charity organization. And Madani through the Shadows of Mercy organization.
During the inauguration of Fakka Riq Takaya, Minister of Social Development of Khartoum State, Siddiq Freni, said that the society had become an active initiative among citizens in times of war and offered unique experiences every day of altruism, solidarity and compassion.
For his part, the founder of the “Fakka Riq” hospice project, Othman Al-Jundi, congratulated all the supporters and sponsors, and particularly thanked the telecommunications company “Sudani”, which sponsored the three new branches as a shelter for the inhabitants of Tuti.
This effort comes at a time when the need for humanitarian support is increasing due to the challenges many families face as a result of the war.
It is worth noting that the team of “Sudanese” volunteers are making appreciable efforts towards social responsibility programs in order to serve the country and the citizen and extend a helping hand to those who come to the safe states, especially in light of these exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.
