Continuing its support to war-affected states, particularly in the health sector, and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, the Sudan Telecommunications Company delivered today (Tuesday) 24/12/2024 AD – in the administrative capital, Al -Manaqil, a medical aid convoy to the Ministry of Health of Al-Jazeera State at a cost of (21) million pounds.
Acting Governor of Al-Jazeera, Al-Tahir Ibrahim, in the presence of the Director of the Sudanese State Corporation, Khaled Al-Sir, and the Director of the Pharmacy Department of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Habib Al- Nour, received (Sudanese) aid, which included “medication for hypertension and diabetes – intravenous salt painkillers and children's medicine for the citizens of Al-Manaqil.”
Mr. Al-Wali thanked the company (Sudani) and said: “Today we are happy to receive the convoy of support from the Soudani company, which was born with its teeth within the framework of social responsibility. ” He added: “We thank the company.” for this support and thanks to the director of the company in the state, and thanks to the general manager who previously promised With his support for major projects in Gezira State, he added, “We consider Al-Jazeera as the beating heart of society. For his part, Director of the Pharmacy Department of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Habib Al-Nour, thanked Soudani and said: “Thank you to the Soudani company for this support, which confirms the company's sentiment towards inhabitants of the island. “Al-Nour confirmed that Al-Manaqil has a large number of state citizens and a hospital to provide services to citizens.
The Sudanese convoy received widespread praise and a warm welcome from citizens, noting that Sudan has continued to stand with the Sudanese, especially in light of the current circumstances.
It is worth noting that during the recent period, Soudani has provided medical assistance to hospitals and health centers in several cities in the different states of Sudan.
