Sovereignty Council Chairman inspects people affected by torrents and rains in northern state
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected areas affected by torrential rains in the northern state.
He was received at Merowe airport by the acting governor of the Northern State, Abdeen Awadallah, and the commander of the 19th Infantry Division in Merowe, Major General Suleiman Kamal Haj Al-Khader.
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council reviewed the extent of damages and losses suffered by citizens of the locality of Marawi and the regions of Tangasi, Al-Qarir, Asli and Masawi.
The President of the Sovereignty Council ordered all federal and state agencies to use all capabilities to assist citizens in these areas and provide them with support and assistance.
