Sovereignty Council member and deputy commander-in-chief inspects front lines in Sinnar and Sinja and congratulates soldiers

Member of the Sovereign Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabashi, arrived in Sennar State as part of his inspection tours of military teams and units, accompanied by Lieutenant General Muhammad Abbas al-Labib, Deputy Director of the General Intelligence Service and Major General Mutasim Abdullah, Director of the Al-Saffat Complex.
He was received by the Governor of Sennar State, Tawfiq Muhammad Ali, and Major General Abdel Moneim Abdel Basset, Commander of the Sennar Front. Upon his arrival, His Excellency received clarifications on the evolution of operations in the region.
During the visit, His Excellency visited the Sennar town market and assured that conditions were calm and life had returned to normal. Citizens gathered to receive him in a spontaneous scene which demonstrated the rallying of all layers of the population around the armed forces.
His Excellency went directly to the town of Sinja, inspected the command of the 17th Infantry Division and congratulated the division commander, his officers and soldiers, as well as other regular and mobilized forces for the victories achieved in the Sinja and Sinar axis, expressing compassion for the souls of the martyrs.
His Excellency received all the information on the conduct of military operations on the different axes, committing to freeing every inch of the soil of this country from the filth of rebel militias.
His Excellency walked through the market of the town of Sinja in the middle of a crowd of citizens who came to receive him chanting the phrases “one army, one people”.
