Sovereignty Council Member and Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabbashi arrives in Al-Faw

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabashi, arrived today in Al-Faw locality in Gedaref State, accompanied by General of division Muhammad Abbas al-Labib, deputy director of the General Intelligence Service.
His Excellency inspected the progress of operations on the front lines in the eastern region, where he was received by the region's commander, Major General Muhammad al-Hassan al-Amas.
His Excellency received insight into the overall security situation in the region and praised the total harmony and great combativeness of the forces stationed.
