Sovereignty Council President returns to country from Cairo – after participation in World Urban Forum

Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General #Abdel Fattah_Burhan, returned home today after participating in the World Urban Forum in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
He was received at the Port Sudan International Airport by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Acting Prime Minister-designate, Mr. Othman Hussein, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council and Governor of the Red Sea, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Egypt to Sudan, Ambassador Hani Salah El-Din Mustafa.
On the sidelines of his participation in the forum, the President of the Sovereignty Council held bilateral talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi, which focused on bilateral relations between the two countries.
The President of the Sovereign Council also addressed the opening session of the forum. “
During his visit to Egypt, the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council was accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
