Speeding of mining projects in Sudan: a step towards strengthening the economy

The Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, the geology of Ahmed Haroun Al -Tom, ordered state offices to accelerate the entry of projects that completed their studies on the production phase before the end of this year as part of the plans aimed at improving income and supporting the national economy.
Authority added in a press release after a periodic meeting via video technology with its offices in the States of the Red Sea, North, Nile, Gedaref, Blue Nile and Kasla, which discussions dealt with the position of investments, asset reports and the new administrative structure.
Al -Tom highlighted the need to move forward with projects such as Chrome in Blue Nile, Marble in the North and Kasla, and the Gypsum of the Red Sea, praising the financial performance of Kassala and Qadarfar offices at the same time. He also announced an inspection mission for States next month to follow the implementation.
