State Finance Council for Health Financing in North Kordofan Discusses Private Sector Debts and How to Pay Them

The fourth meeting of the State Finance Council was held in the hall of the Health Insurance Administration, North Kordofan Branch, in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and State Economy and the members of the committee. The meeting discussed the current situation and the private sector debts related to service delivery points.

The Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Minister-designate, Mr. Al-Hadi Nasser, stressed the importance of ensuring the payment and recovery of health insurance debts, the manner of paying creditors and continuing efforts to attract new revenue resources and increase the promotion of the provision of additional medical services so that health insurance can expand the provision of this service.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Minister-designate Dr. Iman Malik, stressed the importance of setting payment guidelines.

She said that the Ministry pays great attention to restoring the insurance service and its continuity to achieve the satisfaction of citizens, and she thanked the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund.

D. Khattab Al-Samani, Director of Health Insurance North Kordofan Branch, stressed in his speech the need to find resources through the committee to be responsible for paying the debts of health insurance, stressing the recovery plan aimed at restoring the medical service in government institutions, which is carried out through studies and standards.

D. Muhammad Musa, representative of the private sector, highlighted in his speech the concerted efforts between the private sector, health insurance and concerned parties to find sources of financing and develop solutions to repay debts.

At the end of the meeting, the participants stressed the continuation of the implementation of the matrix, monitoring of debt settlement, attraction of resources and promotion of additional service.
