Statement from the Ministry of Social Affairs… It appeared… his blindness – these are my visions – ✍️ Abdul Aziz Abdul Wahab
On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, the press office of the Minister of Social Protection published a statement in which he refuted what he describes as (false and unfounded information) published by his journalist colleague Rashan O'Shea, concerning the transfer of the ministry headquarters from Port Sudan to Gedaref (reduction) in public expenditure.
For the benefit of the general public and to obtain the truth, (Ruaai) will ask these questions to the minister, in the hope of benefiting quickly:
* The press release speaks of the rental of an office for the ministry and its annexes in Gedaref for an amount of (30 million) pounds for a period of 6 months, at the rate of 5 million each month. Have known procedures been followed? to submit an offer and arrive at options to be sorted and prioritized between them, through a recognized real estate agency, and whether the commissions specified here have been paid and how much they amount to.
* Given the state's desire to reduce financial costs, was it not possible to attach the parent ministry to its branch in Gedaref or any other government office? And how abundant and empty it is; He achieves his goal…?
* The statement talked about preparing the building for 99 million pounds (the preparation is delicious) and the million is (the name of the animal) for the billion times.
If the building was rented for (30) for a period of 6 months, and will be renovated for (99), what was its condition before that? I mean, don't rent (Rumah) and it's not a building suitable to be a ministry
So what about the old Port Ministry building, which must have been configured in this or that way? .
Wasn't it useful to be efficient enough and transfer the previous preparation to Gedaref, so as to eliminate or mitigate the consequences of the new preparation?
How will the preparation amount be extracted from the owner? Will it be deducted from the rent, or will people's money be wasted? .
Note that the aforementioned amount is equal to three times the value of the rent, and this, at my age, is a strange and even suspect question of measurement if one chooses accuracy!
* The statement said that the minister had reduced the amount from 99 to 69 million, and since what was hidden had been revealed, (documentary eloquence) required a detailed statement (one by one) and not in general, amounts and units which were approved, and those which were canceled or canceled, reducing it until public opinion agrees on the financial integrity of the minister and his staff.
And the reduced amount was not allocated (for bills, bridges and inflated bills), which may have been issued by one party, and not three parties, as the traditions of government work say.
Here we whisper in the ear of the minister and the pillars of his peace that there is no room for shame, fraud and gossip, so let him immediately reveal everything related to the matter.
* The release said the building also includes housing for male and female employees, drivers and guards. Is this what the government follows with all its citizens, or does this issue have its own necessity and valid reasons?
*The statement said that the former undersecretary formed a committee headed by him to complete the building, and he completed the procedure and signed the contracts himself, so how can the undersecretary he be both referee and umpire. ?
* The statement suggests that the former agent leaked the documents to journalist Rashan and that, in doing so, he had “betrayed” public service and denied honesty and patriotism. And he revealed (state secrets) as it is literally said. And here it is permissible to say (the secrets of the state were silent) whether these were its secrets!
**The statement stated that: The Minister's office found evidence and circumstances indicating that the former Deputy Secretary had dealings with journalist Rashan O'Shea in everything she wrote about the Ministry. Would the office be kind enough to clarify these circumstances and evidence? She always calls about a general topic that concerns people?
Is it a shared concern for public money, or hatred and envy, or is it a case (of vocal or silent identification) between the agent and the journalist, uniting their hearts to persecute the ministry?
So guys, what are you going to do to us (under these conditions) because the person with his head keeps calling and answering?
*The statement said the journalist continued to go to the ministry by sneaking and hiding, in a manner that was shameful and insulting to the ministry (and she had previously accused the ministry of selling humanitarian aid. A report was opened against her and an arrest warrant was issued for her, but she disappeared from sight and remained completely hidden to avoid arrest).
However, with this (intentional) statement, the ministry proves its indifference to the subject of communication, which is closely linked to the ethics of public service and the principles of integrity and honesty.
Perhaps indifference has reached a point where it reflects, in another way, that the issue of humanitarian aid is “no”. Otherwise, the ministry would have taken all means to preserve his dignity, by announcing it, for example, through newspapers and the media. the media, a major reward for anyone who helps arrest an “accused on the run” from justice.
Even though the ministry followed the widely circulated popular narrative that:
I swear this country is narrow.
When she couldn't reach Rashan, he (stuck) her while she was giving everyone with her pen and work, and was not hidden well.
In the report of the Governor of the Bank of Sudan against our journalist colleague Abdel Majid Abdel Hamid, you have an example and a “bad example” of wasting public money on personal affairs.
But if the ministry has chosen to close this difficult issue, the same way the first closed its major issues by saying: Bless you, people… forget this question.
So we are going to bless it… because blessing the congregation… is a marriage
Ultimately, you, the government of the day, do what you do, and you know how to put the paperwork and bills in order for them, and they are all “wrong”…
We left you for me, government. God bless you, government.
May you live long
