Everywhere he went, people talked about his humor, his kindness and his mark. He thought. He was born in 1955 in the Al-Ghaba region of the northern state, where the Nile is located. He stood out from his childhood for his talent in swimming, which brought him to high ranks. Kejab has participated in many local, regional and international tournaments and won many awards with distinction. He founded the first swimming school in Sudan in 1975. from which more than 40 thousand young people graduated and helped revive this fun sport recommended by the ancestors.

Sultan Kejab studied at Cairo University, Khartoum Branch, Faculty of Arts, Department of Sociology. He had beautiful and funny attitudes that people knew about him. Among these were the attitudes his colleagues reported about him. of courses at the university or more, despite the fact that his years of study at the college were four years, but he was between studies and communicated with his colleagues in a friendly, grateful and loving manner, even after obtaining his diploma. Dr. Samuel, professor of sociology at the university, when greeting the students in the auditorium during classes and opening the conversation, he designated them with a special greeting (Hello to you, my students, and a special greeting to my colleague Kijab). This greeting was a metaphor for… The doctor saw him at the theater for several years and he never left the place he loved, where his residence became almost permanent.

His colleagues appreciated his presence among them and were optimistic that his strong voice, good looks and tall stature made him stand out among the people.

By choosing to study sociology, it seems that he was looking for what connects him to people, to life and to the challenges of societal progress. This pleasant and distinctive study expresses his social and political project which aspires to reform and reconstruct society. The study of sociology was an introduction to the mastery of social and political relations with distinction, and he succeeded, reaching the level. He competed for the presidency of the Republic in the 1996 elections and reached advanced ranks compared to his competitors, but he had no luck leading the government, because the competition was difficult and required partisan levers including the men did not have.

In 1988, the country entered a serious food crisis due to lack of rain. Kejab helped draw world attention to the humanitarian situation in the country and took the initiative in organizing visits by a number of international actors and humanitarian organizations. to camps for internally displaced persons and refugees, and to lend a helping hand to Sudan. The man also appreciated his contributions to programmatic and technical work on Sudanese radio, within the framework of the program Nafhat Al-Sabah, presented by the late Professor Laila Al. -Maghreb, the Presidency of the Republic honored him under the reign of President Al-Bashir, alongside several athletes, poets and artists.

Abdul Majeed Sultan Kejab was one of the symbols and icons of our national unity, which began to collapse without any awareness or attention. May God have mercy on Sultan Kejab as much as he loved the people and the people loved him as much as he loved him. country, which he hoped to celebrate with his people after getting rid of this aggressive militia which resembles neither the place nor the history.

Therefore, the truth remains that we must all move forward towards supporting peace and security and strengthening the principles of national unity. We must also move beyond the rhetoric of exclusion and hatred in order to make this country a place among countries that are. We must also strive to close the door and block the way to regional and international enemies and ambitions, and unite our ranks and goals for the good of Sudan, like our departed. hero to whom Sultan Abdul Majeed Muhammad Saleh Kijab aspired. Oh my God, forgive him, have mercy on him and make him dwell in vast gardens, O Lord of the worlds. And make his grave a garden of paradise and bless his family and lovers.
