Economic agreements are signed on the resources of the Sudanese people far from public opinion. The details of the contracts are not published, such as participation rates or terms of sharing profits, as well as the emergence of unknown companies or a mysterious commercial file and have great privileges.
Conflicts of interest is clear, and the suspicion of the presence of invisible government partners in these companies is available. Is this a coincidence that “Khaled Shamo”, the owner and managing director of the company (MBS) that we mentioned in our previous article on the monopoly of importing mining chemicals, is the son of “Ahmed Haroun”, the director of the geological research authority? The two are present in the delegation of the Ministry of Minerals in “Cairo”. It is highlighted by the use of the influence of public employment to facilitate the granting of licenses, authentication and government privileges.
As for the major lie which left the trip of the Ministry of Minerals to the Republic of Egypt, it is the project of the City of Minerals, and it is only “propaganda”, including public opinion, until suspicious agreements pass.
Where is the solution and determination of this unprecedented institutional impasse? Where is the principle of protecting the resources and richness of the Sudanese people?
