Teaching cry: the brutality of rapid support is Sudan of Sudan – something for the fatherland – ✍️ Mr. Salah is strange

In the immobility of the night applied to Sudan, and before the dawn of a new day loaded with false hopes, another crime was announced to be added to the file of horrible violations committed by the rapid support militia. This time, the victim is not a soldier on the battlefield, nor a civilian who was killed by a wandering bullet, but rather a teacher, a light that illuminates the paths of knowledge, and a person who has no guilt except that he found himself in the grip of monsters stripped of all the meanings of humanity. Professor Ibrahim Tara, professor of chemistry at the secondary stage of Umm Baa, who died in a center for the detention of rapid support forces, after being exposed to the most odious forms of torture and famine, in a scene which reflects the extent of the moral degradation that these militias have reached.

What happened to the Tara teacher is not only an individual accident which can be folded in files of oblivion. It is a resounding cry in the face of injustice, and an urgent appeal to each living conscience in Sudan and in the world. The story of his death, as revealed by the Sudanese teacher committee, exceeds the limits of the usual crime. Man was subjected to severe torture, and he appeared in a video in a deplorable human condition, clearly on the effects of torture, hunger and negligence. The most painful that rapid support demanded his family with a financial ransom in exchange for his release, and despite the payment of the ransom, he was not released, so that everyone would be traumatized later on the news of his death. It is not militia practices that seek to control power, but rather the actions of criminal gangs that do not adhere to any law or custom, and feed on pain and fear.

The targeting of teachers, which represent the basis of the countries of the building and their future, is to target the future of Sudan. They are not part of the conflict, but rather of generation manufacturers, and instill the seeds of hope and science in the hearts of young people. And when a teacher is imprisoned and tortured to death in this brutal way, a clear message is sent to all those who carry a pen or a book in this country: there is no security for you, no immunity to your honor and no respect for your profession. This systematic intimidation of teachers pushes us to ask questions about any future that awaits our children and young people in these circumstances.

The responsibility was not based with the militias of rapid support alone, but rather extends to all those who are silent about these crimes, ignore them or justify them. Silence in the face of collusion, ignorance and justification of injustice is involved in crime. Consequently, the invitation of the Sudanese teacher committee for professionals in the Sudanese media, at the level of the region and the world, to denounce this crime, is an invitation in its place and comes at the right time. Sounds must increase, these inhuman practices are exposed and the lights are on the brutality of rapid support.

The Sudanese media, which lives at the heart of this tragedy, must assume their full responsibility by exhibiting these crimes. The murder of a teacher cannot go through this horrible way. This incident must be a turning point in the way the media deal with the Sudanese crisis, focus on the suffering of civilians and the blatant violations of human rights and the voice of those who have no voice.

In conclusion, the murder of Professor Ibrahim Tara is an injury in the body of Sudan and a recent appeal for awakening. The international community, human rights organizations and all those who believe in the values of justice and humanity must move to arrest these violations, hold them responsible and ensure that they are not repeated. The teacher’s blood, Tara, and the blood of all the innocent people who killed these militias, will not go in vain. He will continue to be a curse that pursues the killers, a stigma that stains the forehead of their silence, and a light that illuminates the paths of justice demanding until they are filled.
