The beginning of the course for the martyrs of the battle of Karama in the forest
The executive director of Al-Dabba locality, Mr. Muhammad Saber Kashkish, the chairman of the security committee, the members of his committee, his deputy, the administrative director, Mr. Hassan Ibrahim, the vice president of the Popular Resistance, the leader Hassan Al -Basir, members representing the Chamber of Commerce and a number of official and popular leaders of the region attended the inauguration of the opening match of the Karama Battle Martyrs Tournament organized by the Football Federation sub-division at Al-Ghaba National Stadium between the teams of Al-Nasr Al-Dabbah and Al-Ghaba
For his part, the executive director of Al-Dabba locality stressed the importance of sports and its role in determining the youth, which represents an important element for the progress of the country, in addition to its role in combating harmful habits such as drugs. He described it as another war through which the promoters seek to destroy the youth. He promised to sponsor the sports tournament and provide all assistance until it achieves the objectives developed by the organizing committee of the session.
For his part, Mr. Dafallah, Chairman of the Football Sub-Union of Al-Dabbah Locality, congratulated the Executive Director of the locality for his great efforts to support sports in all administrative units of the locality, especially the support unit of Isnad Al-Dabbah Forces, which has achieved great success, said that the work on the stadium is progressing well, promising that it will be completed soon and will be a source of pride for the locality and the state.
He thanked the Chamber of Commerce for its efforts in the same direction.
He also confirmed his happiness to visit the forest and participate in this sporting event by launching the Dignity Trail in the forest.
In memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
In the same context, the president of the Ghaba football sub-federation, Mohamed Ibrahim Ahmed Omar, spoke.
He praised the role of the executive director in his continued support for sports in the locality, mentioning that the Al-Ghaba Stadium tournament began its launch four months ago with the participation of the local community, philanthropists and expatriates. He thanked the ten participating teams. In the tournament in memory of the martyrs of dignity, he added that the sports tournament involves ten teams divided into two groups, with two teams qualifying for half of each group. The final matches are held in two stadiums, with the first round (group matches) lasting twenty days, at the end of which two knockout semi-final matches are played, and then the final match.
