The Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of a new origin documentation service via the Gold Window

Today, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Sudanese unified window for gold exports, in the presence of the Deputy Secretary General, Ali Salah Ali, and the Director General, Mohamed Hashem Ibrahim, during of the celebration organized by the Supreme Window Committee, in honor of Lieutenant General, Marine Engineer, Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, the Minister of Information, Khaled Al-Aasar, and the departments of the Standards Authority and metrology and of the Ministry of Minerals.
In a statement issued by the Federation's press office, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce described the stage of launching the gold window as the first step towards windows for all of Sudan's exports and its abundant wealth.
The statement said: “We, within the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the National Chamber of Exporters, and on behalf of the umbrella entity, the Sudanese Employers Union, congratulate this approach and this interest, which confirms the reality of the partnership. between the public and private sectors and leads to preserving, organizing and developing the country's exports of gold and precious metals. The press release indicates that the Federation of Chambers of Commerce was one of the first to support the decision to create this window. and proceeded, through its executive leadership at the emergency office in Port Sudan, and under the supervision and monitoring of the Secretary-General and his deputy, to dispatch a number of three employees. Rotation of the window and design of an electronic documentation program for certificates of origin for exports of gold and precious metals, and in order to secure the certificates, the QRCODE system was included on the certificates, which were printed with special insurance standards outside the country to avoid possible counterfeiting operations.
The statement said: “In order for everyone to contribute to the development of the window project, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce has waived all financial rights to issue certificates and provide them free of charge to its members of gold exporters of businesses high-end, private. businesses and individuals. »
