The investment agency -general commissioner, Professor Saif Al -Dawla Saeed Coco, visited the Meroe Medical City, accompanied by Professor Mohamed Abdel Hafez -Member of the Board of Directors. It was received by the executive director of Meroe Locality, the commander of the Division (19) Infantry, the members of the local security committee, the Meroe Medical City Board, its director general, the departments of the departments and the director of the Farms Banking Bank.
This visit comes within the framework of the inspection of institutions affiliated with the investment agency for social security, where the general commissioner chaired the meeting of the board of directors of Meroe Medical City, and discussed the means to improve the workflow of the hospital and to remove the obstacles to advance the level of the medical services provided.
The commissioner-general welcomed the efforts made by the hospital administration, stressing his continuous support to remain the first medical destination in Sudan.
Dr. Hafez Mohamed Abdel Halim – Managing Director of Meroe Medical City – also greeted this visit, expressing his gratitude to the commissioner -general for his continuous support for the medical city. The delegation was examined by what was accomplished during the last period which knew the war of dignity, in which the role of the city appeared as a medical reference to all parts of Sudan for two years.
As part of social responsibility, the Nafir Al -afia hospital was given with a number of birth chairs (2), and the initiative also included support for oncology patients and contributing to the construction of the new building in oncology.
A meeting was also held with consultants and hospital specialists, because the commissioner-general welcomed their important efforts to locate the treatment and stand with citizens in the light of the circumstances that the country is going through. He listened to their suggestions and opinions and promised to meet all the challenges they face.
He concluded his tour by visiting a local presidency, the local police, the prosecutor, the National Intelligence and Intelligence Service, the (19) Infantry Division, the Commercial Farm Bank and the supply building in oncology.
He expressed his thanks for their continuous support for the medical city, highlighting the investment agency with all its partners in the premises and providing them with the necessary support.
The executive director of the locality welcomed the growing roles offered by the administration and guarantee the administration of the hospital to the applicants of curative services of various states of Sudan, in addition to the contributions of the hospital to the treatment of the wounded and the wounded in the battle of dignity.
