The delegation of the Ministry of Minerals informs the Sudaire Mission in Addis Ababa on the external promotion plans and the need for the sector for the post-war stadium

The delegation of the ministry of minerals participating in the African mining forum examined the diplomatic mission of Sudan in Addis Ababa on the overall conditions of the mining sector, the plans and programs related to external promotion, in addition to the challenges and needs linked to the post-war stadium.

The Deputy Head of the Mission, Ambassador/ Al -Hafiz Issa Abdullah al -wafd, Headed by the Geologist, Counselor Ahmed Haroun Al -Tom, Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, and the Hoody Counselor/ Othman Hammad Suleiman, Assistant Director of the Sudanese Company for Mineral Resources for Technical Affairs, in the presence of the military attaché, Brigadier General/ Abdel Hamid Anas Omar and the first secretary Awad Mirghani Mohamed.

The delegation has given the mission to promotional files and investment map, as well as reports on the harvest of last year of production and the regulation of mining, and the Sudanese company for mineral resources in the field of social responsibility projects. The company’s booklet also reviewed its vision, its mission and the most important indicators of the year 2024 after JC.

The booklet underlined that the production of gold during the year 2024 was 64 tonnes, with 137% of the planned link, exceeding the total production of the year 2022 after JC, which reached 41 tonnes.
