The Director General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources in Sinnar State, Agricultural Engineer Al-Hadi Al-Sadiq Ali, met today in his office with the Director of the People's Organization for Reconstruction and Development, Dr. Omar Habibullah. The director general of the ministry asked him to accelerate the distribution of seeds to catch up with the agricultural season, and he expressed his thanks to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for its great interest in small producer segments. and their support for the agricultural process, appreciating the great role that the organization plays in the face of the growing humanitarian crisis and affirming that this year's fall is higher than the natural rates of the previous season, which encourages the cultivation of large areas , calling for the need to embrace the application of modern technologies to increase production to improve food security. For his part, Dr Omar Habibullah, the director of the region, confirmed that the quantity of seeds is sufficient and will cover large areas, stressing that the arrangements were finalized in coordination with the directors of the agricultural departments of the targeted security zones and villages to fill the food gap, in preparation for the start of distribution operations, the director of the organization said that the program targets the localities of Al-Suki and Sinar in an area estimated at approximately 31,000 thousand acres for 200 beneficiaries small villages.
