The director of the health sector in the state of the Red Sea inaugurates the start of the “Share” project carried out by Sudanese Sudanese doctors (SAPA) at Hessay Awalli Health Center

The Qatari Director of (SABA): The target health and emergency intervention project 25 health centers in Sudan.

I launched the director of the health sector in the state of the Red Sea, the responsible minister, Dr Ahlam Abdel -rasoul, today, the “Share” project to support the health system and respond to emergencies, to Hisai Awalli Health Center. The project is implemented by the Sudanese American Doctors Gathering (SAPA), in coordination with the Ministry of Health in the State of the Red Sea and with the support of UNICEF, with the participation of the State Department and local and international partners.

The project aims to support 25 health centers thanks to several activities which include support for medical executives, to provide medicines and supplies, to provide basic health services

And d. Ahlam Abdel -rasoul in the role of Sudanese doctors in America, and their continuous contributions, noting that the health projects that have been implemented have contributed to the stability of health services in the state, and noted the effective roles of Saba and its continuous support for the health sector in the State through its efforts and continuous interventions to support the health system and add the entire project that will contribute to health partnerships and to the idea of ​​the inauguration of this draft trial to activate the health system and the sectors and the ban on organizations from organizations to take advantage of resources according to their rarity.

For his Part, Dr. Faisal Ahmed Al -Nour, The Qatari Director of (Saba), in His speech During the inauguration ceremony, that the project will be implemeted in the port southern locality with the support of unicef, poing out that that it comes in a joint moment and holds a message of hope, as it provids support for the most Affected and Fragile Groups, Especially Women, Appreciating the Great Role of International Partners and Unicef, and the White Army from doctors at the service of humanity.

In the same context, Dr. Abdel -Azim Awadallah, representative of the Federal Ministry of Health, that the project seeks to improve health services in the state, and its total cost is around 83 million dollars provided by the World Bank through UNICEF, the World Health Organization and Partners. He stressed that the project will support 420 health establishments across Sudan, of which $ 62.5 million is allocated to health establishments in particular, explaining that project activities include support for managers, the supply of drugs and supplies and the provision of basic health services.

In the same context, Omaima Oshik, representative of UNICEF, explained that the project will include 18 local states out of 18 states, noting the low health indicators, in particular with regard to malnutrition, adding that the program will also increase the capacities of health executives working in targeted centers.
