The Diwan of Zakat….the people of the Quran and its elite in the land of steadfastness ✍️ Muhammad Othman Al-Radi

At the kind invitation of the Director of the General Administration of Religious Affairs in the Red Sea State, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Onur, I had the honor of attending the visit of the delegation of the General Secretariat of the Zakat Office to the Khalawi Sheikh Hasab al-Nabi Complex in the Dar al-Naeem neighborhood of Port Sudan city.

Aged 60, Omar Khalawi, the late Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, according to the Prophet, who witnessed his birth in the city of Qorora, south of the Red Sea State, and which expanded to include many different localities in the state.

The founder of Al-Khalawi, Sheikh Hasabi, swore to the Prophet himself, his money, his efforts and his connections to spread religious education and Islamic sciences in order to be rewarded by the Creator of the universe.

The Sheikh did not live according to the plan of the Prophet for himself, nor was his goal to hoard and accumulate money. Rather, he devoted himself entirely to the cause of the call, so I was loyal to him and I was loyal to him until he devoted himself entirely to the cause of the call. he responded to the call of his Lord. I ask God for mercy and forgiveness for him.

I am related to the deceased resident on his mother's side, and am considered one of his maternal uncles, and I bear witness to God that he was kind to his parents, especially his mother's family, for whom he had special love and affection, and he always reminded them of kindness and was kind to them, until his passing.

In fact, I was lost in thought during the celebration activities as I was preparing a sermon, and I remember his good deeds and how much compassion I felt for his sons as they carried the great burden of the mission after his passing. Indeed, it is a heavy legacy that weighs heavily on the heavy burden of the mountain, but Anjalah’s determination has surpassed imagination and they have provided wonderful examples in following their father’s path.

Director of the General Administration of Religious Affairs of the Red Sea State, Muhammad Ahmed Onur, his speech was very brief and carried clear messages and deep connotations through which he was able to put points on the letters.

Director General of Khalawi Complex, Sheikh Hasabi Al-Nabi, Sheikh Idris Muhammad Abdullah, the number of stages that the complex has passed through since its birth in 1964 in the city of Qorora in the south of the Red Sea State, and until it developed and expanded after moving to the city of Port Sudan, where it included a primary and secondary school, in addition to women's memorization centers, and includes many branches and specializations until it became a beacon of unique scientific influence.

Sheikh Idris took the opportunity to announce his support for the Sudanese armed forces as they wage the battle of Karama, and he made many demands which were very modest in my opinion and could be met by any charitable man in a short time.

The director of the Red Sea State Islamic Endowments Office, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Idris Bakhit, declined to share words of blessing out of respect for the people of the Quran.

Despite the grandeur of the occasion and the sanctity of the place, Arad's hopes rested on the Secretary General of the Zakat Bureau to undertake, support and sponsor all the projects presented to him by the Director of the Institute. However, he only made donations. 5 million pounds to the largest center for the memorization of the Holy Quran and Islamic sciences. The Secretary General explained the circumstances of the war that affected the Bureau directly, the loss of sources of income and the departure of wealthy states. that pay zakat (something is better than nothing, al-kath, and the stigma of al-khashm).

What caught my attention was the great public interaction of the residents of Dar Al-Naim (Land of Resilience) neighborhood and their great desire to make the event a success, through their presence at the celebration venue from a young age and their great diligence in honoring the guests.

The Governor of the Red Sea State and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Zakat Office, Lieutenant General Mustafa Muhammad Nour, as usual, does not prefer to mention the amounts of money he gives on any occasion and resorts to generalized and vague statements. He focused his speech on the phrase (we will adopt) the institute without mentioning the method and without setting any deadlines (for adoption).

My advice to Khalawi's director, Sheikh Hasabi al-Nabi, Idris Muhammad Abdullah, is to think outside the box and look for alternative sources and not to rely on official institutions characterized by brilliant promises without implementation. There are benefactors and good men, may God grant them success in doing good, especially in supporting Khalawi.

It is customary on religious occasions to wear the bright white nationalist dress, the jalabiya and the turban, in keeping with the rhythm of the occasion. However, some leaders of the State Zakat Office preferred to wear the suit without wearing it. cuff, until they felt that they were on a mission outside Sudan, knowing that the weather in the city of Port Sudan and the high temperatures are not suitable for this outfit designed in Predominant in cold and moderate weather (going out always becomes out of fashion).

The secrets of the Sheikh, according to the Prophet, produced hundreds of thousands of memorizers of the Book of God, some of whom held important leadership positions in the state in various religious, political and social fields. They were lamps of light and guidance and illuminated the path for many who followed them.

I spent a few hours in the fields of preaching and with the people of God, especially the people of the Quran, during which I left the political world, the Geneva negotiations, the implementation of the Jeddah agreements and the quarrels of the Western camp led by America and the Eastern camp led by Russia. Unfortunately (Halima has returned to her old habit), and it is up to the readers to decide who Halima is and what her old habit is.
