The Eritrean President…. Positions towards Sudan do not change or change ✍️ Muhammad Othman Al-Radi

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki Abraham has reiterated his firm and unwavering stance for the unity and territorial integrity of Sudan.

Foreign interference in Sudan's internal affairs has greatly affected the complexity of the Sudanese scene and brought about its ruin. This is a phrase that the Eritrean president kept repeating every time he spoke about Sudan.

The State of Eritrea is the only country that has continued to support the government and people of Sudan, due to their strong belief that the security of Sudan is the security of Eritrea.

Eritrea is the only country to have opened its air and land borders to welcome Sudanese displaced by the war. Strict directives were issued by the President to treat Sudanese as Eritreans and open their hearts and homes to them.

Eritrea is the only country that has refused to open camps for Sudanese refugees, as have some of the countries that have traded with them through United Nations organizations.

During my meeting with His Excellency the Eritrean President in mid-July 2022, he continued to reiterate his warnings about the danger posed by the foreign agenda aimed at dividing Sudan.

The Eritrean president is convinced that the solution lies in the Sudanese house, through holding a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue without external interference accompanied by subversive agendas.

Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki has visited Sudan five times since the outbreak of the December Revolution and has provided advice and guidance to Sudanese leadership officials, anticipating and anticipating what is happening now.

During the latest visit of the leader of the Rapid Support Militia, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to the Eritrean capital, Asmara, he advised the Eritrean President on the need to respect the leadership of the Sudanese army and work under its command and its aegis, because it is the regular army which represents the sovereignty of the nation. However, Hemedti ignored the advice and what happened happened.

The visit of the Eritrean naval battleships, led by the Commander of the Eritrean Naval Forces, to the city of Port Sudan two months ago was a very important moral booster for its counterpart, the Sudanese Naval Forces, which deepened bilateral relations between the two. countries, built on mutual respect and the exchange of benefits between the two countries.

When the Sudanese poet Al-Tijani Hussein Dafa Al-Sayyid composed his famous poem entitled (Eritrea, Neighbor of the Sea and Lighthouse of the South), he was in love and loved the experience of the Eritrean struggle, and he had no not yet had the opportunity to visit the State of Eritrea, but he still had an old and renewed love for his beloved Eritrea, and all this confirms that the Eritrean question is engraved in the minds of the Sudanese people and does not hasn't left him for a single moment.

One of the benefits of the war in Sudan is their knowledge of the state of Eritrea and their contact with the Eritrean people, and many facts that they ignored in the past have been revealed to them (a friend in need is a true friend). .

The Sudan-Eritrean Friendship Association, headed by its Secretary General, Mr. Idris Mohamed Saeed, has the responsibility of paving the way for communication between the two peoples. Popular diplomacy is certainly no less important than official diplomacy, but it is ahead of it. in many cases.
