The Executive Director of Shendi locality, Mr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, inaugurated water supply projects in a number of administrative units, including the water stations of Al-Qulaya Mustafa and the block 1, Al-Qarabaa water station in Kabushieh administrative unit. , and the Nile station in the Al-Tarajma Al-Ghaba region, with funding from the Al-Rafqaa Charity Organization for Sustainable Development, in the presence of the local water director, engineer Walid Mahjoub. Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Ahmed and the Executive Director praised the valued role played by Al-Rufaqa organization in supporting water projects. Mr. Khaled said his locality has developed ambitious strategic plans and programs to support the water sector and introduce new drinking water. Khaled affirmed his commitment to creating sedimentation basins and filling the gaps in the Nile station, Khaled praised the great popular efforts of the translators and their support for all programs and service projects.
Meanwhile, the local water director, Engineer Walid Mahjoub, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Al-Rufaqa Charity Organization for Sustainable Development for its support of the water projects. He said these stations represent a real addition to the water. sources in the locality of Shendi, he announced many new projects, emphasizing his commitment to carrying out a study on the internal network of the Tarajama area.
While welcoming the great movement that the locality is experiencing in all areas, particularly in terms of support for the armed forces and popular resistance, the representative of the organization highlighted the initiatives implemented by the organization, particularly in terms of establishing and implementing a number of watering projects, as well as supporting expatriates. He said that the cost of the project amounted to 18 million thanks to the donation of female medical students of the Islamic University of Omdurman, in addition to the implementation of 3 new wells.
