The Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Mr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, received the delegation of the Popular Support and Resistance Authority in the Darfur Region, headed by Mr. Muhammad Rahma Akwi, in the presence of the Local Security and Native Administration Committee, the Military Support and Popular Resistance Committee and the General Coordinator of the Darfur Regional Government in the Nile River State, Mr. Moatasem Youssef Mustafa, who assured the meeting as necessary to maintain the integrity of the social fabric and the unity of Sudan, in addition to greater coordination and joint cooperation between the local and Darfur states to unify visions and ideas to face the challenges facing the country, the Executive Director praised the people of Darfur for their stance and determination in the city of El Fasher and their confrontation with. the rebel militia. Khaled stressed the importance of the Darfur region for the country and its distinction in its multiple national resources. Professor Khaled said that what the armed forces, other regular agencies and the people of Darfur bring in terms of determination. The city of El Fasher is a strong example and a clear message to the rebels that El Fasher is disobeying the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia. Professor Khaled condemned the targeting of infrastructure by the rebel militia and the looting of the property of the Sudanese people, stressing that. Shendi will be the key to victory.
While the head of the delegation of the Popular Support and Resistance Authority in the Darfur region, Mr. Muhammad Rahma Akwi, confirmed that the visit is an affirmation of Sudan's unity and support for the armed forces, as well as joint work for the benefit of the nation.
Akwi referred to the security and humanitarian conditions in the Darfur region and the immoral practices that the rapid support militias continue to carry out, including killings, looting, destruction of infrastructure and targeting citizens and government institutions. He said that the armed forces, joint forces, and popular resistance in the Darfur states will not allow the fall of the city of El Fasher and the Darfur region, stressing their willingness to defend religion and homeland and to fight with the armed forces to confront the rebellion.
Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent of Al-Ja'aleen General District, Al-Nazir Muhammad Ibrahim Haj Muhammad and Dalbeh, confirmed that the Sudanese people stand with the people of Darfur, and Nazir said that Shindi is a mini-Sudan that includes all components of society.
