The Executive Director of Shendi Locality receives the first batch of housing provided by the International Organization for Migration through the Sudanese Red Crescent Society.
The Executive Director of Shindi Locality, Mr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, received the first batch of shelter bags provided by the International Organization for Migration through the Sudanese Red Crescent Society for a thousand expatriate families affected by floods and rains in the area. The Executive Director appreciated the great effort of the Red Crescent Society in supporting the arrivals and those affected by the floods and rains, thanking the organizations that contributed to supporting the expatriate families. Khaled highlighted the great contributions of the Red Crescent Society, especially in the locality. In terms of supporting expatriates, Professor Khaled stressed the need to provide assistance to all administrative units.
While the Sudanese Red Crescent supervisor in the locality, Mr. Hamdi Amer, explained that the bag contains tarpaulins, blankets, household utensils, mosquito nets and other shelter materials, which target 1,000 expatriate families affected by torrents and rains, stressing his commitment to relentlessly support expatriates and those affected by torrents and rains.
