The Federal Ministry of Health inaugurates AIDS of dialysis centers provided by Saudi support by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action

Today, the Federal Ministry of Health has launched medical devices and equipment to support dialysis centers in Sudan, provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humaninitarian Action, in cooperation with the World Health Organization. The inauguration took place at the headquarters of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia at the Sudan Port, in the presence of a certain number of civil servants, including the under -secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Esmat Mustafa, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Ali Bin Al -Hassan Jaafar, and the director of the Office of World Organization in Sudan, D. Director of the National Center for Kidney Diseases and Surgery, d. Nizar Zulfo, CEO of the National Fund for Medical Offer, d. Sheikh Abdul -Baqi, and the executive director of the Federal Ministry of Health, a. Muhammad Omar.

Support includes * 60 dialysis machines for bloody liquidation, as well as 60 chairs, 6 water purification stations, in addition to 230,000 kidneys *, whose patients benefit in various states of Sudan, according to medical needs.

The under-secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health welcomed the Saudi continuous support, stressing the importance of this aid to strengthen the health system in Sudan, appreciating the role of the King Salman Center in the supply of medical supplies and treatment convoys. And Dr. Esmat on a distribution plan prepared by the National Center for Renal Diseases and Surgery, to ensure the support of the most needy centers, noting that * 30 to be washed out of 60 will soon be launched, which will help save lives *.

The agent also stressed that the support will contribute to the opening of 6 new washing centers *, which will reduce the burden of patients in the various states, praising the Saudi role in the support of the Sudanese health sector during the crisis that the country passes because of the war.

For his part, the Saudi ambassador said the kingdom’s passion to continue to provide humanitarian aid to Sudan, renting the cooperation of the Sudanese government in the facilitation of procedures. He also revealed provisions for * 70 surgeries for patients with urinary tracts *, including prospects and surgeries, as well as an examination of * 150 patients with urinary tract diseases * in Kassala state over the next two days. He added that the medical convoy includes * the specialties of general surgery, urology and the thyroid gland *, where operations will be carried out by Sudanese doctors.

In the same context, the director of the National Center for Renal Diseases and Surgery, D. Nizar Zulfo, he thanked the King Salman Center for his continuous support for the medical sector and kidney patients, noting that this is the second support provided by the kingdom to kidney patients in Sudan since the war *. He added that this support contributed to the stability of dialysis operations in different states *.

The representative of the World Health Organization in Sudan, d. Shibl al -Sahabani, that the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the organization has contributed to the implementation of numerous health projects in the world, noting the efforts of the Regional Director of the World Health Organization of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, d. Hanan Belki, in support of Sudan.

This inauguration comes in the series of humanitarian initiatives implemented by the King Salman Center, in confirmation of the kingdom’s commitment to provide the necessary support for the Sudanese health sector.
