Reuters reported the latest news, citing US President Donald Trump, that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife had been arrested and flown out of Venezuela.
Not long ago, the Venezuelan government announced that recent attacks targeted four regions of the country, including the capital, Caracas, in a dangerous escalation seen on the domestic scene.
The government said in a statement broadcast by the Extra News channel that the American attack aims to seize Venezuelan oil and minerals.
Venezuelan authorities have called on all social and political forces to activate national mobilization plans to face what they consider a direct threat to national sovereignty.
