The governor of Khartoum is held on the conditions of the Nile flood and is addressed to the urgent hedges of Totti, Al -kalakla et al -Lamab

The governor of Khartoum, Mr. Ahmed Othman Hamza, accompanied by a delegation of roads, Bridges and Water Banks Authority led by the Eng. Yaqoub Idris, director of the Department of Authority’s projects, inspected the Nile levels on the island of Totti and a certain number of regions, to determine the areas of fragility and support for the gears of the Nile.
The Governor ordered the Commission to provide reservations of visits and demolitions for any emergency intervention, in addition to providing a small generator to remove water from the interior of the Totti water station, calling on the residents of the region to contribute to providing the rubble for use as demolishing after the Nile refused.
Hamza stressed that the citizens of Totti and the authority of roads and bridges remained in a constant calculation state of floods by mobilizing mechanisms and demolitions and forming an integrated unit to follow the levels. The Water Totti station also inspects the preparation of calculations to protect the station and ensure the continuation of the water supply.
The tour expanded to the Al-Kalakala region of the castle in the presence of the people and the work teams, where the governor was held on the conditions of the ferries and the nile rainwater areas, stressing that the authority took care of the situation of the necessary treatments, in addition to supporting affected families.
The governor concluded his tour by standing at the high levels of the white Nile in the Lamab region, leading the local location of Khartoum to take the hedges necessary to face any urgency.
