The governor of the North confirms his support for sport
The Northern Governor, Abdeen Awadallah, met in his office with the delegation of the Sudan Football Federation, led by the President of the Federation, Dr. Moatasem Jaafar, in the presence of the President of the Dongola Local Football Federation, Khaled Sharif , the president of the Karima Local Football Federation, Walid Bashar, and the national team coach, Kwasi Appiah.
The President of the Sudan Football Federation, Dr. Moatasem Jaafar expressed his joy at meeting the governor of the northern state and thanked his sovereignty and all members of his government for their interest in the sports sector and local federations of the state, and hosted a group of Sudan Premier League football championship groups in the town of Dongola, the capital of the northern state.
Jaafar explained that the governor affirmed his support for the sports sector and that its programs were included in the budget for the year 2025. He stressed that the meeting discussed the implementation of the rehabilitation project of the Sports City of Karima to host competitive matches. that the Federation will do everything possible to prepare the Karima Sports City Stadium to host all regional and international sporting events.
