The Governor of the North will chair the meeting of the Board of Directors of Zakat
The governor of the North State, His Excellency, Lieutenant -General Abdel -Rahman Abdel Hamid Ibrahim, chaired yesterday the meeting of the board of directors of Zakat, which discussed performance reports for the first half of 2025 AD, in the areas of collection, banks and media.
The secretary of the Zakat office of the State, Professor Al -hadi Muhammad Ahmed, explained that the Diwan had reached a performance rate of 101% in the axis of the banks, which qualified for the first row at the level of Sudan in this axis.
In the recovery axis, the performance rate reached 236%, an amount greater than 13 billion pounds, occupying third place in the country, because cultures contributed 61%and minerals by 25%.
Professor Al -Hadi has confirmed the implementation of a large advocacy program, in addition to a plan aimed at establishing Zakat offices in Arqin and Ikkat passages. He also underlined the praise of the secretary general of the Zakat office with the distinguished performance of the State by examining health insurance and considering it as a model in terms of Sudan.
He added that the office guarantees more than 8,000 families, in partnership with the Health Insurance Fund and the Federal Ministry of Finance, as part of efforts to develop health insurance services.
At the end of his speech, the state of Zakat in the state renewed the continuous support of the armed forces in the battle of dignity.
