Professor Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah, Governor of White Nile State, confirmed that the state was able to cultivate large agricultural areas with corn and sesame crops under agricultural projects in Al-Jabalin locality and had succeeded in challenging the conditions facing the summer agricultural season in the region.

For his part, Engineer Wissal Sheikh Farah, Minister of Production and Economic Resources of the State, said that the governor and the accompanying delegation reviewed a number of rain-fed agricultural projects in the automated sector of the locality of Al-Jabalin, characterized by the cultivation of oil plants, noting that this season, more than seven hundred thousand acres have been planted in the area and it is now in stages. There is a huge growth, and at the beginning of October, all this area will be harvested, with an expected yield. She confirmed that these projects have not recorded any type of pest infestation that threatened the season in previous years, adding that the locality of Al-Jabalain is characterized by high productivity, as agricultural crops have been established there. one of the eastern border localities of the states and needs early insurance and protection for the success of harvesting operations, which account for a high percentage of exports.
