In his speech at the Sphere Forum of the Nile River Network platform, His Excellency indicated that the Nile State Police, led by His Excellency Major General Salman Mohamed Al-Tayeb, Human Rights Police, realized very early the danger of the war imposed on Sudan, and was quick to place all its capabilities, including weaponry, vehicles and personnel, at the disposal of the armed forces, believing in its national role in defending the homeland and protecting its sovereignty.
His Excellency highlighted the pioneering role of the police in supporting the battle of pride and dignity against the terrorist militias of Al-Dagalo, through an active contribution to the training of recruits in the dignity and alert camps distributed throughout the state and the graduation of groups of police officers after they successfully completed courses in urban warfare and support weapons, within the framework of the support and integration plans in the armed forces, in addition to activating the work of all police services related to civil support in the accommodation of expatriates.
Major Muhammad Omar also appreciated the heroic role of Atbara Police Hospital in the Battle of Karama, under the leadership of Brigadier General Doctor Al-Walid Mahjoub, who exploited all its capabilities to shelter and treat the wounded of the battle, making it a major evacuation post for the wounded.
His Excellency praised the efforts of the State Police Committee to support and support the injured with dignity, attracting support and meeting all their needs. He stressed that the Atbara Police Hospital will continue to provide the best medical services to all its employees and citizens of the state, noting the addition of new departments in line with its strategic plans to localize treatment in the state and provide all devices and subspecialties.
The head of the media and public relations department of the Nile State Police revealed the regularity of intensive security campaigns and preventive work in all localities, in order to combat negative phenomena, pursue undisciplined and habitual criminals, and monitor and follow up on them. collaborate with rebel militias and their sleeper cells, indicating that these campaigns, carried out with the participation of other regular agencies, have achieved tangible and positive results on the security and criminal situation. He also highlighted the work of night patrols to enforce emergency orders.
As part of his tireless efforts to combat drugs and protect society from its grave dangers, His Excellency explained that a large drug trafficking operation, considered the largest of its kind, was foiled in the past year. A foreign cell was seized in possession of 5 million Captagon pills, stressing that the State Police will not hesitate to confront drug traffickers and will do everything in its power to eliminate this dangerous scourge that threatens the security and stability of society.
His Excellency also appreciated the efforts of the state media, led by the Minister of Culture and Information, Mr. Mustafa Al-Sharif, to launch an important educational role aimed at raising awareness among the community about the dangers of drugs and supporting efforts to combat them.

His Excellency explained that community policing represents a true partnership between the police and society and contributes to raising awareness among the population about security and strengthening the culture of cooperation between citizens and the police. He explained that the media plays an important role in consolidating the concept of community policing, by raising awareness among citizens about its importance and benefits.

Police Major Muhammad Omar Muhammad Ibrahim has announced good news for the people of the state, with the upcoming opening of the Atbara Passport Factory, thanks to the combined efforts of the state police and the state government, indicating that the opening of this modern factory represents a huge achievement that enhances the efficiency of security services provided to citizens and helps facilitate the process of issuing passports.
He explained that the construction and technical arrangements of the factory have been completed and that it will have a production capacity of up to seven thousand passports per day, which will meet the needs of citizens quickly and efficiently.
His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Governor of the State, Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel Majid, and the Minister of Finance, for their firm stance towards the State Police projects and their continued support to improve the security services provided to citizens.
