The journey of hope of the Sobat Initiative for the reconstruction of Sudan to the path of dignity – Something for the homeland – ✍️ Mr. Salah Ghariba

Amid the crises facing Sudan, charitable and professional initiatives shine like stars in the nation's sky, illuminating paths of hope and inspiring reconstruction measures. The initiative of Mr. Hisham Hassan Al-Sobat, businessman and president of Sudan. The Al-Hilal Club comes to rebuild what was destroyed by the war, constitute a new departure towards the future, and establish a new phase of solidarity and national unity.

The Al-Sobat Initiative, which took place at his farm in Cairo, brought together an elite group of symbols and leaders of Sudanese society from various fields, to discuss ways to rebuild the country. The discussions focused on the needs of the next stage, starting from boosting the morale of citizens, to rebuilding infrastructure, revitalizing the economy and achieving overall development.

The economists, led by Dr. Adel Abdel Aziz, presented their vision on the current economic conditions and the needs of the next stage, emphasizing the importance of exploiting available resources with high efficiency to strengthen the reconstruction process.

The speakers, Lieutenant General Imad al-Din Mustafa Adawi, Sudan's new ambassador to Egypt, highlighted the determination of the armed forces to achieve final victory in the war against the rebels, stressing that the sacrifices of the Sudanese people will not be vain. .

Far from the Sobat Initiative, but close to its spirit and objectives, an urgent call is made to complete a vital and important project, namely the Karama road, which connects the states of Sennar and Gedaref, and which constitutes a buoy rescue for the White States. The Nile, the Gezira and the Blue Nile region, and stretches over 100 kilometers in length. With the arrival of autumn, transit becomes impossible, hindering trade and travel and hampering development efforts in these regions.

We call on Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, to issue an urgent directive to complete the path to dignity, and we emphasize the need for concerted efforts of the from various stakeholders, from government and national businesses to international organizations and civil society, to realize this vital project as quickly as possible.

The completion of the Karama road represents an essential step in the reconstruction of Sudan and connecting the different parts of the country together. It also helps to strengthen cooperation and economic integration between states, stimulates investments and encourages the development of rural areas.
