The locality of Al -Dabba distributes food and a shelter to 35 thousand people displaced in cooperation with the global food and red crescent program

The office of the executive director of the locality of Al -Dabba, on the evening of Wednesday, July 13, 2025 after JC, attended a joint meeting chaired by the executive director, which included the refuge committee, the humanitarian aid commission, the red crescent and a certain number of relevant authorities, to discuss the efforts of the shelter and to support the move.
Professor Al -Hassan Ibrahim Hamed, Administrative Director of Administrative Affairs and Chairman of the Demore Committee, announced the distribution of food and refuge, which benefited more than 35,000 displaced people from the Darfur states, Kordofan, Khartoum et al -jazeera, with an increase in the note of previous payments. The food session included flour, oil and lenses, covering 50% of family needs for a month.
Professor Kawthar Qililili, the local commissioner of the locality, stressed that the global food program has become a “food basket for expatriates” to cover the needs of a large number of displaced people, noting that expatriates increase from areas such as Melt, Zamzam, Jabra El -Sheikh, Al -Fasher and Al -Judah, increase the quantities sent.
For his part, the Director of Operations of the Red Crescent in the locality of Dabba, Gaza and Dr. Haj Sayed Ahmed, explained that the distribution process had been carried out with a tight organization and coordination with management. While the coordinator of the World Food Program in the Sudanese Red Crescent, Professor Rania Abbas Muhammad Al -Tijani, said that the distribution included 291 tonnes of materials through 28 main centers and several rallies, and lasted eight in the morning at five in the evening.
The meeting ended by emphasizing the continuation of efforts to support the displaced despite the growing figures and praying that security and peace prevail throughout the country.
