In this context, the question appears on the way in which the hardness of life has been able to transform us into “gelatinous beings” which are not linked to our inheritance and our previous hopes.
The image of traditional Sudanese society was focused on synergy and cooperation, because human relations were considered to be the basis of social cohesion. In the past, the Sudanese were only individuals who sought to meet their own needs, but they rather share joys and sorrows and have cooperated in social events. The moments of pain and affection gathered them in joy and poverty, and through them, they express their humanity and the depth of their feelings. But as the obstacles of life exceeded, this image fades little, society turning to more difficult lifestyles and pressure.
The faces that have become a face and confused reflect a realistic image of the challenges encountered by the Sudanese people. Like the emotional explosion from which many suffer is nothing other than an expression of loss of identity and belonging. Economic and social cruelty has also created a chapter among members of the same family, which weakened the traditional links that were united.
Thanks to the current difficulties, happy memories and strong affiliations that were rooted in the hearts of people were absent. He has lost many generations the true meaning of humanity, which was embodied in traditions and cultural practices, which negatively affected everyone. The loss of these characteristics has made many people isolated and losing them with the ability to interact positively with their environment.
The restoration of authentic Sudanese identity requires a collective effort of all members of society, by activating the human values that the Sudanese people have long been distinguished. It is necessary to work to rekindle social relationships and improve family ties, start moving cultural heritage to new generations, and how to live together in adversity and challenges.
The identity crisis reflects the human characteristics that we have lost in the middle of the crowd of modern life. To get out of this situation, we must wake up from our hibernation and recover the image of our Sudanese identity as it should be, so that our characteristics remain durable in memory and history.
