In a historical moment which reflects the depth of sacrifices and the prolonged march of the struggle, the Sudanese army celebrates this year with the passage of seventy years of its foundation, a memory which carries among them the meanings of patriotism and redemption, and invokes a long history of championships in the protection of the country and to preserve its sovereignty. The Sudanese army was not only a military establishment, but rather and is still a symbol of the Sudanese soil unit and a guard for its safety and its stability.
This opportunity is not only a traditional celebration, but rather a reflection station in the army march, an examination of the challenges and a renewal of the alliance that the Sudanaire army remains an army of the people, a protector of the Constitution and a shield for the nation in the face of dangers. It is a moment that calls for the inspiration of the past, and we reform our vision of a more stable and peaceful future, in which the army is a construction power because it is a force of protective
This year, the first feast of the Foundation of the Sudanese army will neglect us, an opportunity which carries the scented history and the light of sacrifices, and the successive generations remind us that this institution was not only a systematic force, but was rather and is always a symbol of national sovereign, a strong impenetrable before ambitions, and even a solid sovereign in the face of the fortie.
Since the first days of its composition, the Sudanese army has been associated with a spirit of sacrifice and pride, and it participated in the battles of the defense of the earth, and it was part of the national fabric which united the Sudanese on the values of belonging and dignity. The history of the army is not only pages of wars and battles. It is rather a human story that tells the stories of simple soldiers who brought weapons in defense of the fatherland, and presented their souls to keep Sudan, dear, great.
Celebrating the 71st day is not only suitable for joy and celebration, but also a break for meditation and revision. Today, the military establishment is before serious challenges imposed by recent war and internal divisions. This historical moment requires the need to rebuild the army on the new foundations based on science, first based on loyalty to the fatherland and the Constitution, not for individuals or the parties.

The army this year must be a message of hope and optimism, that Sudan is able to advance the ashes of war, and that its army can regain its position of ferocious force and not of control, and as a shield for the people, not a tool of power. History has taught us that the armies who are biased towards their people remain, but which are involved in politics, they lose the confidence of the citizen before losing the battle.
In the current circumstances, the army can become a constructive force which contributes to reconstruction, protecting national projects and helping the natural disasters that Sudan has known on several occasions. The army is not only a war tool, but it can be a development partner and a security valve for a more stable future.
The 71st day of the Sudanese army came in an exceptional period, but it is also a golden opportunity to reformulate the relationship between the army and the fatherland. All Sudanese seek a unified, professional and faithful army, an army that writes a new chapter in the history of this former institution, entitled: Loyalty to the Homeland, Loyalty to the People and commitment to a brilliant future for Sudan.
