The Minister of Culture and Information makes the decision to award an editorial committee of the newspaper “Al -jazeera TODAY”
Mr. Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Mukhtar, Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Minister in charge of the State of Al -Jazeera, published resolution n ° (14) of 2025, in order to impose a new editorial committee for the Al -jazeera newspaper today with his paper and electronic versions and the official site.
According to this decision, Professor Rashid Hamed was appointed general supervisor of the editorial of the newspaper, Professor Muawiyah Majzoub as editor, and Professor Lubna Abdul Rahman Qarafi as editor, with Professor Babiker Hantoub as editorial secretary. The decision also stipulated that editor -in -chief directors adopt the media services in ministries and localities as actionary within the newspaper team.
This decision comes within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to revitalize official media platforms and improve the role of the press in state public affairs coverage and the supply of media content which reflects the reality and maintains the pace of citizen’s aspirations … ..
